clean babies.

halloween,
not a big fan of the day but yet so much
fun to dress up.
how can i take a holiday away from my kids
that involves dressing up...one of the most fun things ever...
and a bunch of free candy?
so yes, i participate in this mostly evil holiday
but my kids will only always be sweet things and we
wont celebrate the "evilness" of it!
so this year
when all i feel like i have been doing is looking at
packing tape, boxes, and oh bags and bags
of bubble wrap....
and really your only break
(to think about things like halloween costumes)
 comes while sitting on the pot {ie toilet}
having full view of the shower
....
well......
lets just say your "two worlds"
collide!!!!
so my kids were a soapy sponge and a pick loofah?
of course made out of packing materials....
foam piece, bubble wrap, rope....
so here are the pictures to survey the damage!

Hey....whaaat are you wearing????

ok lets go....

Come on...what is taking so long? Lets go.
quick family picture...you can imagine how happy everyone was with me....sigh all around...

surveying the loot....hmmm is my favorite in here....as if he even knows what candy is...hahaha
{although now he does...pretty sure its not a good thing!}

getting ready to skype grandma and grandpa and nana and papa and uncle matthew and aunt berna!
hey what gives?....he took all the candy!!!!

we also did some pumpkin carving the night before...here are some snapshots of that excitement...jesse was not sure about sticking his hand inside the pumpkin...it was pretty funny to watch.

 wow Dad this is nuts!!!!

" hey you outta try this stuff...its not that bad!"

picture catch up.

ok...so hello my name is Laura
and i am officially fired from blogging!
I have set a new goal for myself
I am am going to try and blog at least 2-3/week
and then hopefully increase that a little.
for this one though
i am just going to update with some recent family pictures..
well i guess just pictures of the kids...hehehe
{not a fan of putting up pictures of myself, unless of course i have time to photo shop it till its basically unrecognizable :)}

anyways i love to write down my thoughts
and tell stories... of course in a very not so english class, "schooly" style
but i just don't have time for that today but i will....

so we have been terrible parents
and have not been doing that well in keeping up with pictures
of elleanne and jesse.
therefore we have been taking some over the past couple of weeks
and i thought i would share to show you how
fast they are growing!

{there is a bunch of elleanne because we were trying to take her
six month pictures..yes she is already past 6 months...crazy!}

playing in the rain!>>>>

So happy over her ever-present ...and i mean ever-present drool filled shirt!v

{are you sure you want me to smile?}

Now brace yourself....

your about to feel really bad....

                                          or

at least that is what he is going for.....
 haha....we just love this face!!!!

ooooh elleannne....lets hpe you lose that look before the boys come a flockin'.....  ^^^^
 there thats better!

jesse and the dogs.....3 peas in a pod....there is so much love in that triangle!!!!

 ^ I love how elleanne enjoys jesse's despair ....
 {hmmmm whatcha lookin at brother?"}

^that is some intense studying if i ever saw it.

alright well
it feels good to be back on the blog...next one will be halloween!

whew.

you know those whirlwinds in life.
well...
we are in one.
we are in the processing of moving right now
and moving with two kids under two
and two very determined people to
get the house kinda how you like it
early on....
make for lots of sleep deprivation
and very long days.
however we are SOOOOO happy
and feel so blessed to be in our new house.
mark is loving his commute....
and i am still getting used to him being home more often
and quicker....I LOVE it!
so i just wanted to put down an few quick updates
so i dont fall too far behind.  hahaha im already really behind.

ok the kids.
 elleanne.
right after matthews wedding we started sleep training her
again. i wanted to drop a feeding and start putting her down
earlier.
it took about a week but now she is sleeping
from about 0830ish to 0800 in the morning.
we love having our nights back and thank goodness
we have them now for this move.
so for record keeping she did twelve hours a little after 4 months.
towards the end of the month (july) she started turning over.
and now she is constantly flipping around.
about 2 weeks ago we started solid foods...first of course we got it all back....but we keep going and now she is eating really good!
she "talks" a lot...oh great, another jesse! hahaha.
and she LOVES to laugh ...its so fun!
she is still nursing however toward the end of the day
i have to pump to keep my milk supply up.
my kids are really lazy about nursing...but they love to eat!

ok these are the pictures of elleanne in her ladybug
outfit that her great grandma gave her....she wears it all the time...this is taken right in the middle of july {4 months}...we love this outfit-thanks grandma!

and of course with her big brother.

jesse.
well not a ton to report.
he hardly ever walks....runs everywhere.
always talking
loves to play "where's the ball"
we through the ball and he goes to find.
...we runs around all day saying "wheres the ball?"
he is sleeping great in his new room
and we have the older twisting door knobs...
yea....he cant get out until we let him out!

family.
yes, we are in our house and feel so blessed
however as all of you know moving is hard work
and figuring out where everything goes is
no small task...but thankfully the move was a success
and we are on our way to settling into our new nest.
mark is very happy this morning because
we finally got enough stuff out of the garage
to put both cars in the garage...he is very
determined to have all vehicles, workbench, bikes, motorcycles,
laundry, freezer, safe sports equipment, and our oversized stroller in our very tiny two stall garage...but its all there.
hahaha.
