flashback: florida

ok...

so probably my last

"billions of pictures blog"

for awhile :)

{at least I HOPE}

but i never posted pictures of

our oh so fun trip to Florida.

my parents have a condo in 

florida

and we have not been to see it yet...

well, jesse is turning 2 in dec. so because we are 

cheap people

we wanted to go before he

turned to 2.

so yes we had 2 lap children on 

a five hour flight times two!

anyways, it ended up working out ok

and when we got to 

florida...it was so much fun!

we want to go back...oh for vacation time to multiple exponentially. Huh?

thanks to my parent for coming along too

{although they had to per the condo rules....}

it did actually feel like a vacation too

because they helped out with the kids!

 ^ i thought this picture was cool cause you could see the plane through the window.

 ^the babies finally went to sleep on our all nighter to get there.

 ^in the morning with dad looking out at florida.

 ^yep...we made but can you tell....exhausted! and look at all our STUFF.....

 and if you know my dad you can imagine how happy he was.....

 ^ yes, they caught a crab.

 ^haha, well actually, first mark waited patiently for him to climb out if his burrow hole and

proceeded to give him a mild concussion, the tool of choice being a kids shovel, and then catch him once he was delirious and most likely profusely hemorrhaging  in his brain....do crabs have blood?

 ^ahhhh, yes....we are so proud.

 ^of course at this point i was very convinced that jesse was going to get pinched because even though mark's brain blow to the crab eventually killed him...he did not die right away!

 ^the girls and the babies in the water.

 ^ahhhh yes...pretty sure jesse with kill me for this one later on but oh so classic...as we had a code brown on the beach.

 ^wow...you got to love the taste of sand....

 ^elleanne did a lot of hanging out in the tent.

 ^hahaha...looks like he is about to pummel mark in the back!

 ^we are headed home....oh you ask were are the boys....ie my dad and mark....yes that is a very good question.

well they are up in first class...my mom and i have the kids in coach.hmmmmm....

so i have to say one more thing.

jesse is a huge beach bum now.

he loves the water and is still

saying "up and down". he constantly wanted to be out in the ocean

BY HIMSELF...dont touch him.

and he would ride the waves...hahaha

it was so fun!

halloween,

not a big fan of the day but yet so much

fun to dress up.

how can i take a holiday away from my kids 

that involves dressing up...one of the most fun things ever...

and a bunch of free candy?

so yes, i participate in this mostly evil holiday

but my kids will only always be sweet things and we

wont celebrate the "evilness" of it!

so this year

when all i feel like i have been doing is looking at 

packing tape, boxes, and oh bags and bags

of bubble wrap....

and really your only break

 (to think about things like halloween costumes)

 comes while sitting on the pot {ie toilet}

having full view of the shower

....

well......

lets just say your "two worlds"

collide!!!!

so my kids were a soapy sponge and a pick loofah?

of course made out of packing materials....

foam piece, bubble wrap, rope....

we also did some pumpkin carving the night before...here are some snapshots of that excitement...jesse was not sure about sticking his hand inside the pumpkin...it was pretty funny to watch.

ok...so hello my name is Laura
and i am officially fired from blogging!
I have set a new goal for myself
I am am going to try and blog at least 2-3/week
and then hopefully increase that a little.
for this one though
i am just going to update with some recent family pictures..
well i guess just pictures of the kids...hehehe
{not a fan of putting up pictures of myself, unless of course i have time to photo shop it till its basically unrecognizable :)}

anyways i love to write down my thoughts
and tell stories... of course in a very not so english class, "schooly" style
but i just don't have time for that today but i will....

so we have been terrible parents
and have not been doing that well in keeping up with pictures 
of elleanne and jesse.
therefore we have been taking some over the past couple of weeks
and i thought i would share to show you how 
fast they are growing!

{there is a bunch of elleanne because we were trying to take her
six month pictures..yes she is already past 6 months...crazy!}
