= asking people for their stuff

 on the  side of the road.

hahah...

i am basically 100% dutch

and i will tell my kids that they are

all dutch too!

[hopefully they wont figure out the truth...

cause ......

"if it ain't dutch, it aint much!"]

anyways

on my walk i came across some pilled up

toys on the side of the road.

jackpot!

i knocked on the door

and asked if i could take it.

imagine crazy lady with two dogs

two kids

and one sweaty nasty mom at your door

asking for your junk.

well we dutch are

penny pinchers

always lokking for a deal

and of course free is always the best!

so i picked up 

a car and

and a sit and spin

both really dirty

but cleaned up they work and look great!

yea for our own dads!

we love them so much

and they have been such wonderful

dads for both mark and i.

most importantly they have really

demonstrated father God to both of us!

we are so thankful for amazing dads.

so just a little bragging

in our lives.

mark is a fantastic 

father to our two beautiful children.

he is always seeking God

in his wisdom to be the best father

for our children...and that is the best 

thing a father can do!

he is jesse's all time favorite playmate

{when he is not in trouble...hahaha}

and soon to be elleanne's night in 

shining armor!

we are so lucky to have mark take

care of our family and be 

 a wonderful dad for our kids!

elleanne had her 2 month doctor's appt.

elleanne: 10 weeks.

weighing in at 10 lbs exactly.[18th percentile on the growth chart.]

21.5 inches length.[11th percentile]

everything else looks great per the md.

she is holding her head up basicallly 

on her own unless she is tired.

she now sits in the bumbo to watch jesse

play.

she LOVES to smile and "coo" at you!

she gets so excitied when you

talk and sing to her.

she also is thrilled when jesse

comes over to talk to her!

on the garden front.

i can hardly speak of it without

wanting to scream.

basically all my green beans are gone!

just obliterated!

i loathe gophers!

i have murder on the mind all the time.

i just want those gophers necks!!!!!

it is one of the most frustrating things!

the movie "caddyshack" has nothing on me!!!!

pillow for a ring-bearer.

so yes, 

not sure if i mentioned this before

but jesse at 18 months

old will be a ring-bearer

at my brothers wedding.

we are very excited to see if this 

will actually happen.

we have been practicing  being 

that important role of a ring-bearer.

anyways,

look at how daddy has

now motivated jesse to bring him in the 

pillow.
do you think this will work?

sorry matthew...we may have to 
peg the ring-bearer when he gets down 
the aisle.
scary that this is now jesse's favorite
game...
...oh yea and how did mark come up with this thought....that is scary too! hahaha.

grandma-it looks like i will bring you
fresh tomatoes to the wedding....we have a ton of green tomatoes!(as long as my arch enemy doesn't destroy them!)

 already eating our sugar snap peas and zucchini....yummmmm!

and of course....
the weekends always include much needed sleep!

we LOVE both of the sooo much!

as for today,

it was ok

but super busy!

we cant wait for the weekend to finally relax.

i had moms club at church...

so sad it was the last one for the summer.

i really enjoyed it!

they are doing some events and getting together

so hopefully the kids and i can still

get together with the other moms and kids!

and right at nap time

everything came apart.

i liked it better when elleanne was

constantly constipated because we had a 

blow out of poop all over our cloth living room chair {thank goodness for slip covers}

while i was cleaning me, the chair, and her up...

jesse saw a perfect opportunity to make a pool in the laundry room again with the dog bowl.

arrrggghhh!!!!

it is the one thing i can not seem to break!

he knows he is not supposed to...

as soon as he hears me coming...

he bolts out of there like a bat out of hell!

i have tried every disciplinary action i know of!

then i finally get everyone down for their

nap go to take care of the garden...

and what is there eating away at

my garden....

A GOPHER!!!!

my arch enemy!!!!!

yes! 

its one of those days

i wont even go into just the daily trials

bring on the weekend!
