a little about me{laura}: i love God the most...dont know how people live without Him! I love my family next-immediate and extended! I am a registered nurse with a bachelors degree-formerly worked as an ER nurse at an ER/trauma center and now i have the best job in the world: i am a mom! currently my husband and i have a 1 year old son and i am due to have a little girl in April. i love crafts, textiles, sewing, gardening, playing outside, the beach, practical jokes, laughing, bubbles, and sprinkles (the pretty colors).
I pretty much believe you should always have a plan...and i generally tend to think about ten steps ahead..[must be the mom or nurse in me..not sure which one]. my plan for this blog is to post about family, life in general and all the wonderful {projects} that are out there! I usually have some project going..whether it be decorating, re-painting, sewing, creating, and even cooking! when you look around- you know God is an "artsy God" and for that i am so thankful! what would the world be like without color, textures, crayons, markers, paper, flowers, cute clothes, fashion, purses, beads, jewelry, ribbon, tape, needles and thread, and of course the king of all "fixers"-glue! thanks to my wonderful mom who showed me how to love and appreciate this part of life! I also plan on possibly selling a few things through my blog...we will see!{family}
a little about {mark}:
a man of many talents. mark continues to fascinate me with who he is. first and foremost my husband is a very Godly man who desires to serve the Lord and lead his family in God's plan for our life. so... many talents? well you see most people are more right or left brained people- mark is both. he is one of the best musicians i know [he is of the best pianists!] yet he is an engineer. he appreciates beauty and music yet can fix almost anything. he has been using his talent to glorify God and lead worship since he was a teenager...while at the same time working as a server {very relational people-person job} and taking math classes far beyond calculus III! [they lost me way before they hit imaginary numbers...my philosophy: all you really need is +,-, and maybe (x)!]anyways mark loves to be out outside riding his motorcycle [ducati-yes speed demon with 2 kids...prayers always appreciated!], reading one of his five car magazines(slightly obsessed), playing with his son, "pianoing", likes to play sports but does not have a ton of experience, hiking, taking pictures, building(or fixing) some of my projects..he gets to use his tools, and of course spending time with his family! mark works for a company called tri-california; helping to put on these large triathlons through out the year like the famously known wildflower!
