flashback friday: hells angels.

yes
just one picture to share.
i have a bunch of random pictures for the blog
 from this past summer
that because of total chaos...good chaos...
of major life changing events....
i have not posted.

so heres the hell's angels pictures
of yes....my dad and his "old" or should i saw vintage :)
picture of his friends and him on his "hell's angels"
ride.
they miraculously "lost" the paparazzi
oh yes and that "harem" of young ladies
that per their story really thought they were something else....
and stopped by to see the kids!
{hahaha...it was actually really fun and jesse loved to see all the bikes ride off together.}
next post soon to come: christmas on its way!

thanks.

thanksgiving day
what  a wonderful day solely devoted to eating food!
hahaha...
and of course to be sooooo thankful for all of Gods many blessings on our life.
for our little family, we are so grateful for all that God has blessed us with!
but lets return to the food.
for anyone who knows me i  love to eat.
so a whole day devoted to eating
yes that is lovely!
we technically
"hosted" our first thanksgiving
this year...
my family...well anyone who could make it
{my dad was working(pilot) and my brother was with his in laws}
but everyone else decided to come up
so we wouldn't be alone....
as mark had to work all around thanksgiving
so we could not travel.
anyways
i have a bunch of pictures to share.

first
i have to show you a sequence of
pictures from our trip to the
beach.
my sister and i took the kids to feel the water
{in our jeans}
...well
mark stayed back taking pictures
apparently knowing that
this should be captured...
we did not calculate the waves correctly.

oooh what a lovely day at the beach...
 ahhh rescue jesse...hes going to get wet....ooops now i am wet.... {alyson}
watch elleanne's expression....she thinks this run for your life is hilarious!
 ...jesse not so much!
 he's just hanging there!
oooh no....all that work and jesse is still soaked....shoulda left him and saved your jeans alyson!...hahaha

 whats the big deal?
 my handsome beach bum!
 he loves the water...
elleanne totally happy on the beach....however i look like a kangaroo everytime we go to the beach!...but no complaints...i love the beach!
with grandma and her "turkey" shirt.....she thought she looked like a turkey....scaarry thing is ...she was proud of it! hahahaha

walking on the pier.-its hard to see but samuel is on the left hand side with his dog layla....yes were were a walking zoo with all FOUR of our dogs.
 just the girls!

i had to put this one up...cause the picutre was already ruined but actually feel like Samuel's bunny ears
fit elleanne perfectly...bahaha!
 and samuel on the pier...
when did he get so old looking?
ahh yes the holiday spread....thanks to pioneer women who helped me plan some of the menu....
however cant take that much credit 'cause i still had my mom to help me....:)...not all grown up yet! {and we are keeping it that way as long as possible!}

zieglers visit!

so our friends the
zieglers visited last week
before thanksgiving.
it was so nice to see them
and see how their boys are growing.
i have picutres
to share.
Karinne ziegler was my first roommate
and mike, her husband, was my first boss and friend
up at stanstate.
it is so fun to all have kids
around the same age.
so just for reference sake.
the first baby is Andrew-2.5 years old (birthday in april)
second is caleb-11 months (birthday in December)

so in case i impressed any of you with my friends kids birthday knowledge....let me show you how easy it is to remember. I can keep this straight cause our kids are opposites.
my oldest, jesse (now 23mo.) has his birthday in dec.
and my youngest, elle(7 mo.) has her birthday in april

so easy...probably in trouble for the
next set of kids!

anyways here are some pictures.

playing on the trains and cars together.
(i love andrews face in this one...)

 eating cheerios.
 sweet caleb.

this picture {below} cracks me up because mike is a great dad....but i knew him in college...enough said.
haha....never imagined this picture but he is such a good dad!...however maybe Andrew would beg to differ....;)

ooh elleanne...trying desperately to play with the boys!.."look guys...ive got a truck!"
{however....shhh elle i wont tell them that your hiding your phone in your skirt :)}

Roomies and their babies!

now
i have a video to share if your interested.
it is kinda long
but if you make it to the end i
have to put out a disclaimer....
contrary to what i say in the movie...
we dont do that to him EVERY NIGHT....
hahaha...you will see!

....oooh and yes we do try to teach him to catch....so far though he just cant get over dodge ball.

bye.bye.bye

heat!
yea...we got a new furnace last week.
we are very excited to announce that the wright children
will no longer be waking up blue in the morning :)!
yes...
you read it right....
there was a morning that we got jesse up...
he was literally blue...
ice cold...
i had to let him sit in the bath
just to get him to stop shivering.
now before you start making judgments
on our parenting
we promptly went out and bought a space
heater after that
but nevertheless
now we have a furnace!
however i must
tell you a story
of putting it in!

they had to remove all our old duct work,
the heater, and other stuff
that i am not aware of....(oh like
dead rat corpses...yuck!)
well, jesse
made it his mission in life that
EVERYTIME the workers went in or
out they
had to say "hi" but more importantly
"bye".
he would stand there and yell
bye,bye,bye,bye,bye,bye,bye,BYE
until they responded
{yes, whenever i was aware this was happening
of course i rescued them
but there were many times this was not the case.
he was not in the way
or causing trouble
just making himself known and patrolling the door!
so these poor men just started making a habit of always saying bye whenever they walked out the door....
which was A LOT!

and today.
he was a little tired.
too many byes maybe?
hahaha just kidding.
ok he decided to go upstairs
and crawl into elle's swing
{currently in our closet...because of the furnace installation.}
he played in the swing for about an hour
just talking to himself.
sitting up and laying down.
then it got really quiet....
the hallmark sign of something
bad is happening.
well, this is what i found.
yep.
passed out sleeping....
in the morning.
haven't had that for almost a year!
i guess silence doesn't always
mean...
"whats the punishment
going to be this time?"
hahaha

politics.

alright...
you had to know this was coming
for those of you who know me
i have a really difficult time keeping
my mouth shut and frankly
 i dont think i should...sometimes :)
please stick this out and read it...i promise many more innocent kid pictures to come...

i am very concerned about the future of our country
and like all the generations before
who said the same thing
...i am just fulfilling that
very important role of worrying
about our kids and the world they will
grow up in.
however i am not in denial
i am aware that the Bible is very
clear that as the end draws near
times will only get worse, war more frequent
and immorality will pervade absolutely
everything....
to the point that we have to constantly keep
checking ourselves because we can become so blind to
all the things not of the Lord.
however that being said
the Bible is still very clear on upholding
and fighting for "all that is good and holy".
so ..
i am currently trying to think of what i can do to help
ward off corruption.
i will let you know what "political movement, cause, or demonstration"
i will begin...
...i am still working on those details.n :)

first though i wanted to share
with you Bill O'reily's talking points from a couple of nights ago.
now, before you roll your eyes...please listen to what
he says because he very clearly explains some direct impacts of
moral corruption.

i am not sure if this will work but click on the link...
i think you will find it interesting what he has to say.
click on the 11.12.2012-titled "Is traditional America gone
for good?"

now, if you happen to follow facebook
awhile back ago before the election one of my
old friends made a comment about one of my comments i made
on facebook regarding politics....it had to do with Libya.
she was obviously an obama supporter
but instead of reeming her over facebook i wrote her back privately but
being that this is a more "private" area than facebook i wanted to share with you what i
wrote.
(by the way ...her name is Laura)

Laura....instead of making this public i thought it would be best done in a private message.Yes, i absolutely follow the news, DAILY! Obama's admin. continues to try and paint Romney as a liar, bad person, whatever...and if you only watch MSNBC then yes thats all you know. However, I have a really big problem with journalism ( and i know that is your field) so here it is. I am a bachelors prepared RN and when I earned my degree and license i took an oath promising to care for EVERYONE regardless of their personal beliefs or my opinions about them....(and trust me as an ER RN in Modesto i have had to care for some very "bad" people...rapists, people who killed others) it was not my job to judge them-only to gather medical information and care for them. Now, i was under the impression that journalists are to gather information and share it to the public. It is their job to get the information and share it with the public regardless of their political position. I am in shock over the coddling of Obama that is taken place. There is literally blood resting on his hands....its murder! And its not the kind of murder that comes from declaring war its the kind where you sit back and let people die in front of you. SICK! Thank goodness for the ones who did not follow white house orders to not go and help the consulate in Libya because of their disobedience to orders - at least 30 people were saved. As the granddaughter of an Army man, the daughter of a Marine, and a sister of a Navy man I am disgusted that this commander in chief absolutely did not care for those who are out in the world doing his work and he does not have the decency to protect them....when he had full capacity to do so.....why are we not hearing about this??? It is a huge scandal that is disgusting.....president election put aside this is not a commander in chief for our loved ones....the people who keep this nation safe everyday! The sickest part is his blatant lies regarding the whole issue. Him and his administration....lying to the American people is wrong!!!!Lying to the parents of these brave men is the lowest somebody can go....I would be outraged if that was my son and his commander in chief tried to cover up the truth of what actually happened to protect his political campaign, Disgusting! Thank you for your concern over my political knowledge...I will continue to stay informed from all media outlets in the best way that I can to make sound judgments for the future leaders of our country!
I trust you will do the same,
Laura

well...
as you can see i am very passionate
about this issue
even before the election.
however, now with all these recent events i am literally
appalled at our government.
Look,
here it is
i am a mother of a wonderful
baby boy...and maybe more :)
there will come a day when he will grow up
and make some important choices like whether or not to
join the military...or he may not have that choice due to a
draft {please god i pray against both}
but unfortunately it is not in my control
however with this current president
he absolutely lied to the americans and these poor
dead american"s families...knowing that he was wrong to not do everything to save these boys
there is NO way i want my boy serving a country where he
is left to die....when they are crying out for help...
not the America i love.
Not only that
this now shows the world that our
leadership is getting weak
and that we are allowing politics to come first
over our boys lives.
and our country is very quickly dropping its
reputation of the most powerful country in the world.
hey...if my boy is fighting in a war...i want him to be on the side of the
strongest country and thanks to obama that is dying fast!
we are more concerned about someone who made a video and take disciplinary action
against them than save our boys lives!
the government should be serving jail time...not someone who is practicing their right to free speech.

ok i am done at this time ...i think

well.. one more thing.
in the pres conference...by the way the first time the president has talked to the press
{or american people} in eight months!
he admitted that the white house told susan rice to blame the video
for the terror attack in libya...finally the first piece of honesty...
so yes he is responsible for all those
lies for 2 weeks straight....
but then he had the audacity to try and make
those who were blaming Susan Rice for misleading the
American people feel guilty about attacking an innocent women...
wait a second....
huh?
Mr. president I am pretty sure YOU put her out
there to take the heat...
and fed her the lies to tell everyone....
if YOU would have told the lies yourself(which he did) and only you
then NO ONE would be blaming Rice....
soooooo
pretty sure that he caused all the heat to be placed on
Susan Rice not "fox news" or any other
journalist or senator looking for the truth.

ok that is a lot
i know....sorry if it doesn't make sense
i can talk better than write :)!
so just call me and i will fill you in completely.

what did you do?

what did you do?
usually its "dysa, what did you do?"
or
"dakota, what did you do?"
however
more often now it is
"Jesse, what did you do?"
and
every now and then it's...
"elleanne, what did you do?"
anyways these are mark's  famous words in
the house....
mostly because of all the emphasis he
puts on the words...
just ask my family they can testify to
this being
"mark's phrase"
they think its funny
so its hard not to adopt this phrase when your here.
anyways...
this evening
we were all sitting down for
a lovely meal of chicken pot pie...
nice comfort food
being that everyone is
sick and both kids had fevers
today....
oooohhhh and elleanne is sleeping
terribly....so everybody is sleeping terribly
sorry, back to the story.
so towards the end of dinner
i had placed annie's(elleanne) baby food maker jar
filled with pureed pot pie
behind her...
well she is a little acrobat and can literally contort her little body to get at anything...
even if she has to fold in half backwards
well of course
you can all guess she knocks it
over with pureed pot pie flying everywhere...all over the room!
great!
so I say..."shoot"
well jesse waits a total of 2 seconds then yells....
"shoot!"
and then follows it
directly looking at me and yells
"what did you do?"
{however when he says this he says "wha do do do?" loudly}
he was as serious about his accusation as
judge judy or hannity against any liberal thinking!
well, that was about the only thing that could make me smile at that
moment....
it is just crazy how quickly these kids catch on!
{oh yes...if you want to know the rest of the story
mark let the dogs in to help clean up the mess...
they are our vacuum cleaners
except that this time they found another animals poop
outside and proceeded to rollllll in it
soon all of our noses detected a most horrendous smell.
perfect, pureed pot pie, with a topping of wild animal poo
all over my dinning room!
as jesse says "gossss!" {gross}
oh its a monday.
hahaha

ok well
today i put together a little bit of a monatage
of videos from the last month....
mostly its of elleanne's screams
however, i have still been unable to
catch the real
loud, ear piercing things she is known to do...
the same thing jesse did. and there is a little bit of the kids playing....and i put a little bit of the kids "cheezin" it
to the camera.
but really quick i have to tell you
if you saw the last video
of jesse "reading his book"
when mark saw it he looked at
me and said "Laura, you know he is not really reading, right?"
hahaha...yes this is my engineer husband.....thanks for looking out for me babe! hahaha
ok here it is

Im reading, im reading

look Dr. Marvin im reading!
 hahaha...taken from "what about Bob?.
anyways.
as many of you know jesse loves books
and now he is starting to talk so much...
i mean in the english language...
he has always baby talked
but now let the good times roll.
however i am learning that i understand him perfectly
but maybe to most it still might not be that clear...
mark is even looking to me quite a bit to find out what he wants or
just accidentally ignores him thinking that he is still just baby talking.
well, anyways i have a video of him
"reading" one of his books.
its actually been a lifesaver in the stores because
i ask him where something is in the book and he searches to find it.

oh yea...
however....watch your mouth mommy and daddy...
cause he already goes around saying "shoot, shoot, shoot"
or even worse "crap" a couple of times after i accidentally said it in front of him.
the crazy thing is he uses them correctly ...
like when he is frustrated.

and then of course
we have had a few laughs around here....
because we will talk about the beach....and use you imagination
how that one comes out....and yes unfortunately in one of
his word books it has a picture of a fox....
well we desperately tried to fix the pronunciation on that one
instead we are now trying to ignore it...however of course that is the
word he remembers all the time.
i am just dreading that conversation with the sunday school teacher!

ok..here is the movie.

and i also wanted to leave you with some pictures of elle....jesse calls her eyyeeee all the time!

i am and avid thirft store shopper and i found a little treasure a couple of
weeks ago....a little sailor dress/shirt. i think it is so cute once i cleaned it
up a little!
