b&b bash.

so this is the
bachelor and bachelorette party blog post.
{however...i was not at the bachelor part of the party...
so i do not have any pictures
but we did meet up with the bachelors later so i have a few...(fyi the guys went paint balling-heard it was so fun!}

overall it was a success!
we just hope matthew and berna
had fun.

ps there are lots of pictures of the house
cause i wanted to document the party.[we
did a "victoria's secret" theme...but made it "berna's secret"]

fourth fun.

well i have a few snapshots of
the fourth of july fun
for this year!

but first i have to share with you something that happened
a few days before the fourth.
jesse LOVES his little
sister...more and more everyday...its so cute!
anyways he always wants to be right with her
or holding her..
or right in her chair with her...
see pictures...

he really started to squish her so we had to get him
his own chair.
so now whenever elleanne is sitting
in her chair he brings over his own chair and sits
right next to her!

hahaha...ok on to fun
of the fourth.

haha...jesse looks petrified!
although he loved the fireworks!

and lastly some wagon shots
for the fourth!
the kids are loving it!

i love this one of elleanne
it looks like she is waving goodbye!

important pieces.

alright,
let me set the stage for this one!
it was friday morning three weeks ago
after a very stressful and busy
week.
we were leaving town for santa clarita
[my parents house]
for my brother and soon to be sister in laws
bachelor and bachelorrette party
as soon as mark got home from work.
well, we woke up that morning and 0545
to get mark out the door for work 2 hours earlier
so he could leave
earlier to be down there.
[we had so much to do for the parties!}
we begrugdingly got up when the alarm went off.
i got up and made his lunch,
he quickly got ready...
and off he went on his motorcycle.
still on plan!

well the story ends here...

how did we get there?

let me tell you from mark's perspective...
{but told by me...;)}

"it was a beautiful crisp july morning in paso robles
i [mark] was off to an early start, according to plan!
i get on the freeway with ease, traffic is light...
and start to enjoy the beautiful scenery around me...
all of a sudden i felt prompted to look
down at my bike.
a regular picture of this would include a
general survey of the bike...with all things intact.
however this was not a normal morning...
i looked down and saw that to my dismay...
my gear shifter was GONE!
great....i am going  65-70 mph
in 5th gear on the highway with no way to shift!
upon further evaluation, mind you while driving...
the gear shifter was dangling behind the bike flying with the wind!
GREAT!!!
with each passing second i was getting farther and farther away from my home!
quickly, i decide to pull off at the next freeway exit...
{at this point not sure what mark did...but it
was the correct thing to do so he wouldnt die, thank goodness ...maybe take it out of gear....is that possible?...i dont know?}
i parked the bike at the safest place to stop off the freeway.
after surveying the situation and considering the time constraints of getting to work
a towing service was called...yuck! what a morning....
i got to work only 10 min, earlier than normal
when all was said and done!
huge bummmmmmerrrrr!"

this all happened because one little bolt came lose and fell...
man, those important pieces.

more repair work for mark....
commuting sucks....
thank the Lord mark is ok!

on a side note:
i ran outside to catch pictures
in my pajama's and underwear of the towing man...
{well, he thought i was taking a picture of him
actually it was of the bike!}
hahaha

a half candle.

yes, it was my sweet
baby boys 1/2 bday
last tuesday {June 26}.
nomally 1/2 bdays are not a big deal
[unless of course you are 13 or under
cause you always want to be older right?]
however for us its a big deal because
we have decided to celebrate jesse's half
birthday to give presents.
his real birthday is the
day after christmas...
too overwhelming for him and me.
plus now its a little spread out
and he wont always have a ton of winter
clothes or toys!
we will still celebrate his real birthday
just not the gifts part!

anyways,
i have a few pictures and video to share.

....and yes...
he actually touched the flame once
burned himself ...
went back again
[no the second time we got his hand in time so he didnt get 2 burns.]
...hopefully he will
figure out "learn from your mistakes"

anyways nana and papa
sent him a wagon
that he loves!

alright ,
and for the video....
its super long
not sure if i would even sit down
to watch it! sorry....
