growing beans & funny words.

[the definition of] Sleepy-seeds:

the little greenish hard particles that

gather around your eyes

through-out the night and you wake

up in the morning only to find that they are quite painfully lodged in between your eyelids so you move to retrieve and dig them

out.

...or known to most people:

"sleepies" [right?]

haha...well you know those times you look at your

spouse because of something they said...

and you wonder how come i have never heard that from you?...

or just plain..."where did you come from?"

i just thought it was so funny to hear mark 

talk about his "sleepy seeds" the other morning.

another funny thing that came out of his mouth today...

"I love using math to find out ...things...

you know?"

well, cant say i know ...but i am happy that math gives my engineer husband so much joy! haha.

anyways,

this may sound strange to most of you

but i made beans grow last night..

well not literally-but i bought some bags of dried beans for our white chile dinner tonight, soaked them overnight and...

they grew!

i was really excited..forget the whole canned beans thing...this is soooo much cooler!

{and there are so many of them in one bag!}

...yes i get excited about beans soaking up water...and my husband about math...its a real rip-roarin' party around here!

ok, lastly i have a video of jesse talking 

on the phone. normally he does not get

a real phone but it just happened

that he got a hold of the real one

rather than his fake one that looks

exactly the same

{yes i broke one of our cordless phones

so jesse gets it.}

he talks on all cell phones, 

play phones, and even 

sometimes tries to talk to

the tv clicker.
