Oh man. we are so thankful today. mark had a really stressful week but it ended with a sunday full of relaxation and fun. thank goodness we had a break today...and a wonderful one at that. woke up this morning went to a great church service, had a picnic lunch in our backyard then packed up the car and spent the rest of the afternoon at pismo beach with the giles [kimmy and dave]. so the rest of this blog is just pictures.

we love the beach!
jesse had so much fun in the water! he kept wanting to play...beach bum in the making.
of course the dogs came, and they had so much fun...relaxing after gallons of inhaled salt water.
and playing in the sand is so much fun. however eating sand- covered grapes is even better!!!
and it wouldn't be the same without auntie alyson and josh to give jesse shaved ice at the beach.
and kimmy and dave with their two boys: caleb and lucas...it was so nice to see them.

and lastly i do have video footage at the beach...its not that exciting but for record keeping i would like to post it.
